Sig P365 Slide Release Stuck - I decided to install a wilson combat grip module on my p365. After reassembly my slide is locked back and i can not move the slide release. The release will not move down. Can’t get the slide to disengage. Any help or guidance is appreciated. Whether it’s a slide that won’t lock properly or trouble getting back into battery, the sig p365 can sometimes test your patience. But don’t worry, we’re here to solve these. With an empty magazine in place and the slide locked back, i cannot release the slide. I have to drop the magazine to get the slide to close. Check the recoil guide rod. If it's binding or stuck at the muzzle end it will prevent the slide from moving back. With the takedown in the open position the recoil spring will be. The sig p365 holster. Lock the slide to the rear. Pull down the take down lever and hold it, while you bring the slide forward with your other hand. The slide sits about 1/8 from the back end of the frame, but racks ok and can be locked back with the release/catch. Also, can't get the slide off of the frame, now. I have a new p365 ( born on date of july 2025) and with the magazine out the slide release is very hard to operate with one thumb, but doable.
